My creative work is much like gardening.
It's about growing forms and sharing a harvest of meaning,
whether that meaning comes in words or visions or both.
Just as a gardener needs the soil, the sun, and the rain to create a garden, I count on the wisdom of those who have come before me and the providence of a divine power as primary to my work.
I hope to stay centered within the beautiful limits and natural discipline of gardening in my work, of being both a worker and a grower, to feel gratitude and humility as I sit beneath the branches of the tree of life.
